Any gift made to the KWCRF by June 30, 2022 qualifies to be matched dollar-for-dollar by a gift from the Kansas Wheat Commission. The total amount of matching dollars will top out after $1 million has been matched.
Matching gifts can also be used for legacy gifts, or gifts made in your will. The matching dollars will be gifted to the KWCRF immediately even though your gift to the KWCRF will be made in the future.
“We wanted to give farmers, cooperatives and corporations an incentive to donate to the Fields Forward Campaign now,” said Gary Millershaski, chairman of the Kansas Wheat Commission. “Giving to the KWCRF is an investment in the future of wheat farming in Kansas. The research done at the Kansas Wheat Innovation Center ensures profitability for wheat farmers while improving the quality of wheat for end users.”
